Tensions between various countries and China are escalating, with Argentina, Malaysia, and Thailand all experiencing increased scrutiny and conflict over China's investments and actions in the South China Sea. Additionally, Cuba is facing heightened tensions with China amid allegations of espionage, further complicating the geopolitical landscape in the region. The United States is also playing a significant role, particularly in Argentina, as it monitors these developments closely.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
