Immigration issues are at the forefront of geopolitical tensions, with multiple countries intensifying their coordination and policies in response to rising protests and crime related to migration. In Europe, Spain and Morocco are grappling with significant unrest, particularly in Ceuta, while Belarus faces border tensions with Lithuania. Meanwhile, nations like Australia and Indonesia are enhancing their immigration cooperation amid growing concerns over border security and migrant activities, reflecting a global struggle to manage the complexities of migration in the face of climate change and public sentiment.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
