Nigeria is at the center of a complex web of international relations, intensifying cooperation with various countries such as Morocco, Mexico, and South Korea while also strengthening ties with Germany and Austria. However, tensions are rising with the United States amid allegations of overlooked violence and human rights concerns, and diplomatic dialogue with Lebanon is notably cooling. Additionally, Nigeria is actively engaging in cultural partnerships and strategic initiatives with Qatar, reflecting a multifaceted approach to its foreign relations.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
