Google is significantly expanding its cooperation across multiple sectors and regions, partnering with US states like Texas and Florida on data center development and financial analysis, as well as with cities such as New York and Sydney on cultural, technological, and AI projects. The company is also deepening its internal collaboration with Google DeepMind and external coordination with figures like Elon Musk and Intel, while intensifying efforts on AI regulation and strategic leadership under Sundar Pichai amid growing concerns about AI safety and employment impacts. These moves highlight Google's central role in shaping technology development and governance globally.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
