OpenAI is at the center of escalating legal and competitive tensions, facing challenges from Florida and Elon Musk while simultaneously deepening cooperation with NVIDIA, Singapore, and key figures like Satya Nadella and Greg Brockman. The company is navigating a complex landscape of regulatory scrutiny and industry rivalry, particularly with Microsoft, as it advances its AI technology and diplomatic efforts. This dynamic reflects broader global concerns about AI safety, governance, and innovation.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
