Tensions are rising in multiple regions as the United Kingdom intensifies its military and strategic cooperation with various nations, including Ankara and Stockholm, in response to NATO's evolving deterrence initiatives. Concurrently, the UK is also deepening ties with Caracas over Venezuela's gold reserves while addressing recent detainment incidents with the Czech Republic. Amid these developments, military actions involving the Houthis further complicate the geopolitical landscape, highlighting the interconnectedness of defense and economic interests.

How News Intel works

News Intel is a feed of AI-written sentences about where the world is going. Under the hood, GDELT, RSS and curated Twitter handles stream into an entity graph (people, organizations, places, indicators) keyed by Wikidata QIDs. Pattern detectors run hourly against that graph - when one fires, the LLM is asked to write a sentence describing what's happening. The percentage you see is a magnitude-of-shift score computed from the graph signals themselves; the LLM never sees or produces the number.

Filter the feed by Topic (Geopolitics / Tech) and then by Region or Vertical. Each card links to the full claim detail page with the underlying entities, evidence events, and signal history.
